Tag# 9-26 "Rock your Sweater"

Hello my friends.  Just a very quick post today sharing my latest tag.   I am still participating in The One Little Tag FB Challenge .  I am not getting a tag done every day, but I am still inspired to make tags and be creative and I enjoy seeing other peoples creations..  This tag was made using my new Elizabeth Craft die that I got at Scrapfest.  So it may look familiar to those of you that had a look at my Scrapfest haul.  I have been wanting to use it, it looked so fun.  So now I actually have about half a dozen sweaters done up!

I used mostly off cuts from previous projects to die cut the sweater from and trim the tag from.  I used 2 different stamps.  The top stamp is a Kaisercraft stamp and I masked off "...be jolly"

I hope you enjoyed my tag for today.
I am thinking of doing a "12 days of Christmas" tags or cards tutorial.  If you would be interested in seeing this, please let me know in the comments.  Also let me know if you would like tags, cards or a combination.
Thanks so much for joining me!

Tag 9-4 Another Christmas Tag using the crackle background #onelittletag

Hello my friends!
Today was my birthday and my friend Bonnie gave me the new Kaisercraft "Frosted" stack.  So naturally, since I enjoy making them anyways, I'm in the mood for Christmas tags.

I have been wanting to make a tag using the background I created using the crackle technique for Mixed Media Morsels. I knew I wanted to use it for a Christmas tag

I cut out ephemera from my new paper and edged it with vintage photo distress ink.  I took a sled I had previously die cut from gold card out of my stash.  I also got a "Recollections" Christmas flower from my stash.

I used some Glitter Snow, Diamond dust and Stickles to embellish the tag.  I layered onto some white gold shimmer card and then mounted onto heavy black card.

Thank you so much for stopping by!  I hope you enjoyed  my tag today.  If you are new to my blog and have been enjoying my tags and like to make tags yourself, you may want to check out the FB group that started me on this tag making journey! it is The One Little Tag Craft Challenge
Have an awesome and artful day!

"A Friend" Tag# 8-14 #onelittletag

Hello my friends!
Today's post s a tag for The One Little Tag Craft Challenge.  It is pretty simple with a strong sentiment.   The heart is a Tim  Holtz die, one of my faves, and  a stamp (Kaisercraft) that I have wanted to use for some time and this seemed like an idel time to use it.  The prompt this week is "gratitude".  I had resolved not to get hung up on the prompts, but  this is a challenge that  deserves a few tags.
I am so very fortunate to have the best friends in the entire world and I am so grateful for the wonderful people in my life.  So this tag is in honour of my amazing  friends, who are always there for me on so many levels, and who I cherish very much.   My hope is that my tag will inspire you to just take a second to appreciate your good friends, who it's sometimes easy to take for granted.
Thanks so much for stopping by, have an awesome and artful day!

Jackson's Card

Lilie's Card

Some new cards - Welcome Little One!

Hello!  Today I thought I would share some cards I have been making and this is the first of three.  My friends daughter just had a new little baby boy (I saw him today and he is soooo precious!).
I water coloured a background, used a Memory Box die for the clouds..
(I  cut the clouds out of white glitter paper.  I don't know why they look pink in the photo!)  I used a Little B die for the little onesies.  I often use fun foam behind my paper or card when I am die cutting, especially with an intricate die (which this really isn't).  The reason is that it embosses at the same time as die cutting and when a die has a lot of little cut outs, they come out much easier, I have found.  I am telling you this because I was cutting out the onesies from white card and I used some blue foam behind it, but then thought they looked better out of the blue foam, so I used those!  A Kaisercraft stamp and a piece of string.  I assembled it and affixed it to a pre-scored Recollections
5" x 6.5" card.
Sometimes it's hard for little ones when a new baby comes along and gets all the attention and a bunch of presents, too!  So I like to include all the kids so I had a couple more cards to make...
