Alchol ink on glass pendant video tutorial by Margaret Brackley

Hello my friends!  I have a special treat for you today.  My alcohol ink workshop posts have been some of my most popular with all of you.  What's not to love about those beautifully vibrant inks.  One thing I have mentioned is how stunning the glass pendants always turn out.  My friend, Margaret Brackley teaches the alcohol ink workshops that I have been featuring on my blog.  She has started a YouTube channel and I am so happy to share her first tutorial!  If you enjoyed looking at the photos from our workshop, you will love this video.  If you like alcohol ink, you will want to subscribe to her channel because she creates wonderful works of art  using a variety of techniques, and this is just the first of more tutorials to come!
Thanks so much for stopping by today and I hope you check out Margaret's video.
Have an awesome day everyone!  xo

More Awesome Alcohol Ink - A fundraiser for The Cure!

This is an image I borrowed from my friend, Janice Brown, our president at Ajax Creative Arts.

Hello my friends!  Sorry for such a long lapse, but a lot has been going on.  There have been art shows, demos, preparing for exhibits and shows, workshops AND another alcohol ink workshop with a twist!  This time it was organized as a fundraiser for the "CIBC Run for The Cure".

Once again, the class was taught by my friend Margaret Brackley who was approached by her friend Veronica, who is a glass artist, about possibly doing a fundraiser.  Margaret kindly agreed and our club, Ajax Creative Arts donated the facility and their portion of the workshop proceeds.  Everything was organized by Margaret and Veronica.  Many thanks to Veronica's team, as well!

What a fantastic response!  We had 21 ladies in the class, which is all we could accommodate, and a waiting list in case any spots became available!  Thank you so much to everyone who participated to make this such a success.  It was truly a WIN / WIN for everyone.  It was a fun evening, as it always is.  Everyone went home with beautiful works of art that some of these ladies didn't realize that they could create, and a successful fundraiser as well!
Now, without further adieu, I will share the photos of the alcohol ink awesomeness!  Enjoy!

We fit 21 ladies, plus Margaret and a few helpers in here!  A full house for a great cause!

So vibrant!

I am always amazed (although I really should be prepared by now, lol) how beautiful all the pendants turn out.  The photos never really do them justice.

Curious?  You would be amazed what you can do with ink and an air can!

Tea time!

This is Margaret's display of her work for inspiration.  I thought I would show some of her new works, as well.  I am loving the winter scenes!

 Beautiful Northern Lights!

And some awesome little pieces of art to adorn your fridge!

Once again, Thank you so much to everyone who made this evening such a success.  A wonderful group of ladies, and not all of them were from our group, so it was so nice to meet some new friends as well.
And thank you so much for taking the time to visit.  I hope you enjoyed this new post and are maybe inspired to give alcohol inks a try, or pull them out if you are already and alcohol ink lover!  Have a fantastic and artful day!

Another fun Alcohol Ink Class with Margaret!

Hello All!  I thought I would share the photos from our latest Alcohol Ink Class with Margaret Brackley.  It's always a fun and popular class.  This time, as well as doing pendants and ceramic tiles, we also did glass Christmas ball ornaments.  Everyone did a wonderful job with this vibrant medium.  Grab a tea (or whatever your preference!)  and sit back and enjoy  pursuing the photos of this fun class and  some wonderful creations.

Thanks so much for visiting.  I hoe you enjoyed today's post, we definitely enjoyed the class!  Thanks again, Margaret!
Have an awesome day, everyone!
